This July, an ALL-NEW independent film series will be kicked off by fellow local filmmaker, Amir Muhammad. The very first installment will feature a myriad of short-films by Liew Seng Tat. The impish Liew Seng Tat is one of the most precocious talents in the indie movie scene. This show brings together his early animations such as "Don't Play Play" (in which a senile grandfather goes to town) to his MVA award-winning comedies "Breakskin with Strawberry Jam", "Not Cool" and "Flower" (featuring Yasmin Ahmad as a woman of ill repute).The first chance to see all these quirky but humane shorts in one go; laughter and gasps are guaranteed. The director will be present to share some of his secrets.
