Since the opening in 2002, The Mummy Returns Live™ has entertained over 750,000 guests in 8 countries including the US, Japan, Hong Kong and Australia.

A theatrical show with a 2,500 square foot attraction, featuring 14 actors, themed rooms and corridors, custom digital sound effects, diversionary animatronics effects, effects fog, scenic theming and props, plus a 20 foot long Black Hole spinning tunnel, plus a themed entry facade. The stage show can host over 750 patrons an hour through an exhilarating and nail-biting set of 8 darkly ominous theatrical scenes. As you move through the scenes, up to 12 cast members will take you on a journey through a grisly underworld. Be careful and keep an eye on our heroes, there are nasty surprises waiting around every corner!

The Mummy Returns Live™ primarily attracts the young adults from 14 to 25 years old that crave entertainment that is different and excites them. Since the attraction is based on two blockbuster Hollywood movies, it is highly recognizable and provides visitors with the opportunity to experience being in a Hollywood movie.

The Mummy Returns Live™ also attracts young families and school children as it provides wholesome value for money entertainment. The characteristic of the attraction is such that the visitors experience the walk through in groups of maximum 8-12 people and it enables the group to enjoy the experience together.

D Arranged Marriage

D’Return of D’Arranged Marriage

On his 10th birthday, Sanjay’s parents announce, “Sanjay, you are 10 now. Isn't ittime that you thought about getting married?” Enter a birthday cake crownedwith a picture of his bride-to-be. However, to his horror he discovers that Neenu, the prospective bride, is already dating the village idiot Rundeep!

After another successful tour of New Zealand, and their first tour of South Africa, Tarun and Raj (aka Those Indian Guys) are back in Malaysia for four nights only!

And they’re bringing back all of those wickedly funny Indian characters which packed the theatre in June. For four nights only, Tarun and Raj will take it in turns to portray every Indian relative you’ve ever know in the hilarious one-man show, D’Arranged Marriage. Add in a few Bollywood-style song and dance routines and you have the funniest parody of Indian family life since The Kumars at No. 42.

With sell-out seasons at New Zealand’s LAUGH! Comedy Festival, the Melbourne Comedy Festival and the Sydney Opera House Studio, D’Arranged Marriage is a rip-roaring comedy that draws on every Indian stereotype to hilarious effect - a show not to be missed by anyone who has been set up on a blind date… especially by their parents!

Presented and produced by Gardner & Wife in co-operation with the New Zealand High Commission, D’Arranged Marriage will play for a Four Nights Only at The Actors Studio @ Bangsar Shopping Centre.

Cinderella at KLPac (December to January)

CINDERELLA
A ROCKIN’ CHRISTMAS PANTO FOR CHILDREN OF ALL AGES

Cinderella is a poor girl. Her best friend Buttons is secretly in love with her. Cinderella’s father, The Datuk, returns from a stretch in prison with a new wife. The new and very wicked stepmother has two horrid daughters. They condemn Cinderella to the kitchen and the life of a servant. Two debt collectors come to repossess the Datuk’s furniture and the sisters chase them away. A ball is announced at the palace and Cinderella is kept from going by the evil trio. But Cinderella’s fairy godmother turns up and magically supplies Cinderella with a beautiful gown and a carriage to get her to the ball. But there is a catch. The dress and the carriage will vanish at midnight.

The whole family and the debt collectors turn up at the palace and trick there way inside. Then Cinderella arrives unrecognized by the family. The Prince and Cinderella meet, dance and fall in love. Cinderella forgets about the ‘midnight’ rule and as the clock strikes midnight she runs as her clothes return to poor rags. But she leaves behind a slipper. As the family make their way back to the house from the palace they are set upon in a haunted forest. The Prince and his best friend Dandini scour the land for the girl whose foot will fit the slipper. When they get to Cinderella’s house the Stepmother and stepsisters lock Cinderella away and deny any knowledge of another girl in the house. But selflessly Buttons frees Cinderella who tries the slipper which, of course, fits perfectly. Cinderella marries the Prince, The stepsisters get the debt collectors and the stepmother opens a jewelry shop. And it all ends happily ever after.

There is a theme. And it’s ‘The King’ Let’s face it what other rocker made the journey from rags to riches, from trucker to ‘The King’? Elvis’ story was a Cinderella story if there ever was one.

UNHCR and ICRC proudly present

their inaugural Film Showcase: "War and Flight: The Need For Humanitarian Action".

Date: 9 - 11 December 2005

William Shakespeares Julius Caesar at KLPac

Synopsis:
Julius Caesar is a tale of conspiracy, power, death and destruction.

When Caesar returns victorious to Rome, he is offered the crown by the populace and unwillingly he rejects it, three times. Cassius, wary of Caesar’s foibles and ambitions conspires to have Caesar assassinated; but for his conspiracy to be accepted by the populace he must, and does, win the noble Brutus over to his side.

The pre-determined day for the assassination, the Ides of March (15th March), is prophesised by a soothsayer. On that day Caesar is mercilessly stabbed to death on his way to the Senate House. One by one the conspirators, in the form of a ritualistic sacrifice, thrust their daggers into Caesar’s body. The final thrust is delivered by Caesar’s beloved Brutus … ‘Et tu Brute’.

What follows is a disastrous series of events, culminating in the double suicides of Cassius and Brutus.

Smoovepinch: We caught a small preview of this amazing group rehearsing at KLPac during Pygmalion and the vocal arrangement was simply delightful! A Must See!.. If anyone wants RM10 of their ticket for Wednesday's show, leave your name & contact in the comment box.
