September Tale (Dama Orchestra)
Teresa Teng, Her Life, Her Songs
featuring
Tan Soo Suan
Dama Orchestra
Dama’s production September Tale pays tribute to the world-acclaimed Chinese songbird of the 1970s-1980s – the legendary Teresa Teng, who despite her early demise remains truly an international icon. This concert features the award-winning team of Dama Orchestra and soprano Tan Soo Suan, who will be rendering songs popularized by the late superstar. Teng’s international fame is unprecedented; it extended across the boundaries of Asia – China, Japan, Taiwan, Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia and others – to the Western world. September Tale takes the opportunity to relive those beautiful memories as a commemoration of the tenth anniversary of Teng’s passing.
