Rivergrass Dance Theatre presents Pebbles 3, a platform for both amateur and professional dancers to share the stage and exchange their experiences in dance. The first performance, “Catch That Thought”, will showcase graduates from the Rivergrass Dance training course along with talented young children aged between three and twelve years old. The second performance, will see some of the best dancers in Malaysia performing a piece about the emotions of “Qi” (Angin or Semangat) entitled “Qi.VI”. “Qi” plays a significant role in most Asian traditions.
Fundraising tickets are available to assist Malaysian representatives to attend and perform at the World Dance Alliance’s Global Assembly 2006, Toronto. In fact, “Qi.VI”, will be performed there. The very same team is also bidding for the Global Assembly 2008 to be hosted in Kuala Lumpur.
